London unveiled 2012 Olympics Logo !

Few days ago, London unveiled the new logo which should be used during the 2012 Olympics.
Many people complained, and I need to admit that I’m not really in love with the logo. I’m sure they wanted to do something "young" but unfortunately, they’ve certainly missed their objectives.
This problem wasn’t enough, some people started to complain about the following video, promoting the 2012 Olympics Games. The video promoting the new logo had to be removed from the organizers website. This decision was made after some people complained that the video caused epileptic fits. Therefore, you can only watch it if you are not epyleptic .. sorry !
Do you like the new logo ? and do you think they should change it ?

I think it’s too much géométrique ! Moreover, the colors of all continents are suppressed (ça se dit ça ???)
Only pink and yellow .. it don’t seems to be the logo of Olympics !

I’ve to say i’m not enjoy to read english news, but it’s your blog Ludo, I must read it, in french, english, or in PHP (unbelievable for most of population !).
So, i’ll speak about the new olympic logo. I don’t like it ! English didn’t accept Euro, so to continue their differences, they change the logo. I’m sure they’re first to do this fabulous horrible thing. Change the olympic Logo who symbolized fives continents (existing words ?), it’s horrible ! Burn them !
Yeah many people complained about the logo, we just have to wait and see if they gonna make any changes !

We English designers are here - but we were never asked!
This is a poor representation of our heritage and pride in my opinion, and (like many, many others) I am embarrassed by it.
I think it would have been a good idea to have a contest so designers could submit a logo. Unfortunately, they decided to stay old fashion and keep spending thousands !
