Wifi LogoToday, I went to London to meet some people. Oxford Tube, a bus company, offers a great service, with buses running every 20 min between Oxford and London. More recently, they’ve launched a service that I had to try, Internet access on every coach ! It is even better when you know that the service is totally free !

The service is pretty much Plug & Play. No worries with cable, subscription, you simply have to enjoy. Having made a speed connection test, it gave me some good result. To be fair, I was pretty impressed with the result, it gave me a 1.3 Mb speed connection … nearly as fast as the connection I got at home !

Offering free connection to every passenger is certainly a bonus, which can make a difference against the competition. Unfortunately, I don’t really understand why companies like Virgin Train, First Great Western or any other companies, don’t offer the same service, or at least for a small fee. Who will be the first to launch Internet access in the train ? With all the business men, there is definitely a market !

P.S: I wrote this post on the coach ;)

EDIT: This service is provided by Moovera.
